There have always been core groups of dedicated Mac users in Suffolk but, too often, they worked in isolation which made it difficult to resolve issues or brainstorm new techniques. That all changed just over 15 years ago when the Suffolk Mac Users Group was born.
We have grown to a group of more than 120 members who share tips, trials and tribulations, tutorials and everything that is anything to do with the Mac experience. All our meetings and classes are warm and friendly. We welcome questions and leave plenty of time for socialising. Plain English is always encouraged and everyone is welcome, whether you are a seasoned professional or an absolute beginner.
We meet every other month on Wednesday evenings - from 7.30pm to 10pm - in the comfortable surroundings of Rushmere Village Hall, very close to Ipswich.
Access to the hall’s car park is from Humber Doucy Lane in Ipswich. Head towards Rushmere from the Rushmere Road roundabout on Colchester Road. A quarter mile or so up the road, at the mini roundabout, turn left in to Humber Doucy Lane. The first building you will see on the right is the Rushmere Community Centre (it has a bus stop right outside it) which is immediately followed by the drive leading to the Village Hall.
If you’re using sat nav, the hall’s post code is IP4 3PD, which will get you to within 200 yards of the building.
Come and see for yourself - you’re assured of a very warm welcome.
